The Rebeka is Luna's case for the modern black occasion dress that wears 2 ways. A fitted sheath with a soft V neckline sits at the core, and removable sheer cape sleeves fall from the shoulder in long open panels. With the sleeves, the dress takes on a quietly dramatic presence for the evening; lifted away, it returns to a clean sleeveless line. It is built for cocktail hours, charity galas, milestone celebrations, dinners, and speaker moments where one piece needs to carry the night.
Cut and constructed in the Luna atelier in Pozarevac, Serbia, the Rebeka pairs a structured polyester crepe body with sheer chiffon cape sleeves that attach at the shoulder and drift in fluid, front-split panels. The body holds its line through the bodice and waist while the sleeves move freely, and a discreet silver-tone charm marks the waist. The dress is fully lined and closes with a concealed center-back zipper above a soft V back. With the cape sleeves removed, the sheath stands on its own with a tailored, understated finish.
The fit is true to size. The bodice sits close through the rib cage and waist, the V neckline frames the shoulders, and the sheath skirt falls to a knee-length hem with a small back vent for easy stride. The composition is 95% polyester and 5% elastane, with a polyester lining, so the body holds a little stretch through the mid-section. If you are between sizes, size up for a softer fit through the waist. See the Luna sizing guide for measurement specifications. The length is 37” from the back of the neck to the hem on a size 2. Model is 5 foot 9 inches wearing size 2.
Styling
For charity galas and cocktail evenings, pair the Rebeka with the Jody Lace Clutch Bag in Black and a single bright lip.
For a structured arrival, the Klara Structured Mini Handbag keeps the silhouette clean.
For cooler rooms, layer the Selina Wool Cape in Black over the sheath.
For a tonal evening pairing, the Eli evening dress sits in the same after-dark register.
Silver or crystal hardware reads cleanest against black; keep one metal throughout.

The coat over it
The short Rebeka in black crepe ends at or just above the knee. In the daytime we would put the Beige Jacquard Trench Coat, Rea over it, and it is 3 inches longer than the dress on a size 2. The trench is $770, and the dress and the coat come from the same atelier in Pozarevac. After dark, the Teal Floral Jacquard Light Coat, Emma ($880) puts teal flowers on a black ground over the black dress.

The coat to wear with it, and what to add
We list the coat first. We chose it by where this hem falls.
